About My Photos

All of my images are in colour. Most of these images were taken using film. I now capture images with a digital SLR. Many of the images in the galleries are limited editions. The note cards are open editions.

Please note that the actual photographs are sharper in appearance than they look on your computer monitor. Also, the colours in the photographs you see on your computer monitor may vary from the colours of the actual photograph. This is due to the variance in the settings of computer monitors.

WHAT I PUT IN TO EACH PHOTOGRAPH
I have the ability to see beauty almost everywhere I go. Over the years, I have honed my eye and intuition to know what it is about a place, view or building that makes it interesting or beautiful. Quite often when I'm out and about, and I have stopped to capture a photo, people passing by stop and realize that, yes, there is a photograph here.

Once I see the photo I wish to take, I use patience and technical expertise to capture the subject as expressively as possible. I then use a professional lab to process and print my photos to exacting standards.
